Workshop notes

The glass top had gone. We cut a smoked oak circle, eased the brass collars, and left the metal unlacquered so it will mark with use. A lamp sits properly; a cup does too.

If you want a different linen, a lower shelf, or the paint held back from the top, say so in the enquiry. Small changes are done before the piece leaves, not after it is in a van.
